Hosted at the Albuquerque Convention Center, this one-of-a-kind event brings together some of the Southwest's most talented barbers, artists, entrepreneurs, automotive enthusiasts, and local businesses for an unforgettable day of competition, entertainment, and community pride.

At the heart of the event is the live Burque Barber Battle, where skilled barbers from across New Mexico and beyond compete head-to-head before a live audience and professional judges. Contestants will showcase their talent, creativity, technical ability, and passion for the craft while competing for championship titles, recognition, prizes, and ultimate bragging rights.

But the excitement doesn't stop at the barber stage.

Route 66 Burque Battle is a full-scale community experience  featuring USA Amateur Boxing competition, a spectacular lowrider showcase, and a  featured Tattoo Artist Showcase, where talented tattoo artists will display their creativity, craftsmanship, and unique artistic styles while connecting with attendees throughout the event. Combined with local vendors, music, entertainment, food, giveaways, and much more, there's something for everyone. Whether you're interested in barbering, combat sports, tattoo culture, custom vehicles, shopping, or simply looking for an exciting day with family and friends, you won't want to miss it.

The event is dedicated to bringing people together through talent, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community engagement while providing a platform for barbers, tattoo artists, local businesses, and organizations to showcase their skills, products, and passion. To ensure a quality experience for attendees, all vendor applications—including merchandise, products, and displays—are subject to review and approval prior to acceptance.

Competitor registration is now open for barbers ready to showcase their skills on one of New Mexico's biggest stages. Barber Battle registration is $100 per contestant and is non-refundable. Vendor booth opportunities and additional event registrations are also available while space remains.
